My Flying Pigeon

I first came across the Flying Pigeon,  on Jeffrey and Flora's blog http://www.jeffreyandflora.com/2011/05/flying-pigeon.html. Loved the retro look of the Flying Pigeon and loved it even more after reading up on its history. According to the Flying Pigeon website "Only one bicycle has earned the distinction of being the single most popular mechanized vehicle on the planet. That bike is The Flying Pigeon."  

 then I stumbled across this video and was smitten

 so as of yesterday, I too am the proud owner of my very own Flying Pigeon.

Now all I have to do is find a name, love that Flora calls hers "The Pidge."

Have a lovely weekend. I'll be flying around town this weekend and I desperately need to teach Lil O how to ride his own bike, because that seat of his is definitely hindering my cool retro bike look or then again it could be the pants. Whatever as big Z would say.

No more snowstorms for us and negative temperatures

we're back to our good singaporean habits of spending sunny afternoons at the club.

And as for Zoé who said she didn't want to come back here, I don't think she's looking too miserable. Wouldn't you agree?

Let the sun shine

 ...So I may have complained a little about the constant heat & humidity and envied my friends back home shopping new fall wardrobes, eating chanterelles, apple picking and talking of first snow falls, 

but then again it's pretty sweet to be able to cool down with a swim on Nov. 15th and not worry about catching the flu because of walking home with wet hair.
